Gayle Ann Roberts is a certified women’s health nurse
practitioner at Northeast Ohio Obstetrics/Gynecology, Inc.,
in Massillon, Ohio. She is also an adjunct faculty member
at Malone College School of Nursing in Canton, Ohio, where
she teaches health assessment, community health, mathematics
and statistics, research, pathophysiology, advanced
health assessment, and women’s health. Mrs. Roberts is an
instructor in the undergraduate RN-to-BSN program and
the graduate Family Nurse Practitioner program. And she is
well-known in southeast Ohio for informative, energetic
and humorous programs on women’s health, childbirth
education, parenting and health promotion.
In 2001, she received her Master of Science in Nursing
from the Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing at Case
Western Reserve University. At graduation she received the
Cushing-Robb Prize for outstanding academic, clinical and
research achievement. She has maintained her certification
as a women’s health nurse practitioner since 1980.
Most of Mrs. Roberts’ 31-year nursing career has been in
community health, and women’s health has been her focus
for 26 years.
The prestigious Award for Excellence from the Frances
Payne Bolton School of Nursing recognizes Mrs. Roberts’
commitment to excellence in nursing and women’s health
care through her leadership as an innovative educator, nurse
practitioner, and patient advocate. Her dedication to
promoting women’s health significantly improves the
quality of women’s lives. |
