Connecting the Community: The State of the Art and Science of Pastoral and Spiritual Care in Advanced Illness

All community pastoral and spiritual care providers, parish nurses, social workers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals were invited to attend. The symposium's goals were the following:

Explore issues related to providing pastoral and spiritual care to individuals with advanced illness and their families through networking, education, and current research.

Discuss challenges and opportunities in providing pastoral and spiritual care to individuals with advanced illness and their families.

Learn to apply National Quality of Spiritual Care Consensus Guidelines to your provision of pastoral and spiritual care.
