COURSE OF STUDY OPTIONS
Educational Leadership Track
The Educational Leadership concentration prepares doctoral-level nursing educators for clinical and academic settings. This track provides you with the foundation of education, testing, evaluation, curriculum, and instruction and requires completion of a teaching practicum and research project or thesis. This curriculum utilizies an evidence-based approach in the education of nurses.
Clinical Leadership Track
The Clinical Leadership concentration prepares doctoral-level clinicians or practitioners and includes core courses in research and health policy focused in organizational behavior, information management, and management in advanced practice. If you choose this concentration, you will prepare a business plan and have your choice of completing a research project or thesis to develop and lead evidence-based practice.
