Keynote Speaker: Katharine Youngberg Kolcaba, PhD ’97, MSN ’87, RN, Associate Professor Emeritus of the University of Akron College of Nursing and Consultant & Owner of Comfort Line, Inc., will discuss her Comfort Theory and comfort care used by nurses, along with how nurses make a difference in the lives of their patients and their patients’ families every day. In addition, two other alumni will discuss how they make a positive impact in their work on a daily basis.
