or personal expenses. In order to receive financial aid, students
must:
Federal Loans
Subsidized Stafford Loan: Low interest rate, interest
paid by federal government while student is enrolled in school
at least half-time, or in deferment. Repayment begins 6 months
after completing your program, and when you are enrolled in
less than 5 credit hours. This is a need-based program. Student
must have financial need as determined by their FAFSA to be
offered this loan.
Unsubsidized Stafford Loan: Low interest rate, the borrower
is responsible for all interest that accrues while enrolled
in school, and in deferment. Repayment begins 6 months after
completing your program, or when you are enrolled in less than
5 credit hours. This is not a need-based program. All may be
considered for this loan regardless of their financial need.
Federal Perkins Loan and the Federal Nursing Loan: Low
interest rate that begins to accrue upon repayment. Repayment
begins 6 months after graduation, or when you are enrolled in
less than half-time. This is a need-based program. Students
must have financial need as determined by their FAFSA to be
offered this loan.
State Loans
