Like your home or your office, email is much easier and more useful if it is organized. Folders, filters, moving, deleting...all of these things add up to a more organized email environment.
To help explain how to organize email and where to begin, we have created a PowerPoint presentation that you may download and print for your reference.
Click here to open/download the presentation.
NOTE: To view without saving, choose 'open'. To save the presentation for printing, right click and choose 'save target as'.

2. Go to 'options'
3. Click on 'vacation message'
4. Click on 'enable'
5. Fill out dates, and the subject and body of your reply (recommended number of days between messages is 1)

Make sure to log out when you are complete.
Forwarding Case Mail
If you are an active Case member (IE: not alumni, retired, etc...) it is NOT recommended to forward your Case email.
If forwarding is required, or to check for forwarding, you may log into http://mail.case.edu and go to 'options'. Once in options, go into 'settings' and the mail forwarding option is there. You must press 'save settings' to save any changes.
Mailing Lists
Currently in beta form, Case offers a self managed mailing list utility. You may use this tool to create mailing lists, public and private...or mail aliases for @case groups. Please refer to http://lists.case.edu for more information and usage.
