We recently discovered a problem with creating Producer files when Internet Explorer 7 is installed. The problem involves scripting and access errors.
We currently have a workaround for the issue. The workaround will not eliminate all script errors*, but will eliminate the errors that would prevent a user from creating a Producer presentation.
To apply the workaround:
Before creating a producer file, open IE7.
- -Go to Tools
- -Go to Internet Options
- -Click on the Advanced tab
- -Scroll to Browsing
- -Check BOTH "Disable Script debugging (Internet Explorer)" and "Disable Script debugging (other)"
- -Click ok
*Now you may continue with Producer, however you will still receive a scripting error when you are about to Capture. This error will occur 2 times. Select "Yes" to both.
This will allow you to continue as usual.
