MASTERS OF SCIENCE IN NURSING (MSN)

 

GERONTOLOGICAL NURSE PRACTITIONER (GNP) and GERONTOLOGICAL CLINCIAL NURSE SPECIALIST (CNS)

Gerontological Nurse Practitioner (GNP's) provide advanced primary care and health-promotion activities to older adults and families. Courses focus on health promotion and aging theories to provide care to this special population. GNPs practice in community clinics, hospitals, long-term care facilities, and private practice. With additional courses, student can also become eligible for certification as a Clinical Nurse Specialist.
