At an open house, you will have an opportunity to speak to faculty, staff, admissions counselors, financial aid representatives, and students. You can tour the FPB School of Nursing, including our state-of-the-art Learning Resource Center, where you can have some hands-on experience with some of our teaching simulators.

Nursing Career Connections

Nursing Career Connections is an annual event presented by the Alumni Association Board for all students to meet several alumni working in various areas of nursing. Alumni panelists and Alumni Board members have dinner with students, then the alumni panelists briefly announce themselves and answer career/nursing position questions posed by students. Attending students are provided with short biographies of each speaker, and door prizes are given to students who ask questions. A Case Career Center representative also presents briefly to inform nursing students about campus resources available to them as students and alumni.

Research into Policy: Making the Journey

Sponsored by the Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing's SMART Center

This unique, one-day conference will examine how nursing research and nurse researchers influence and create health policy across different countries, settings and populations.

Researchers, faculty, post-doctoral fellows, and doctoral students in the health, behavioral, and social sciences are encouraged to attend.

Freshman Friday

Our Freshman Friday program is a special opportunity for all admitted nursing students and their parents to experience the FPB Difference by touring the FPB School of Nursing, staying overnight with a current nursing student, and meeting faculty.

Students will also have an opportunity to tour University Hospitals Case Medical Center, one of the world-class medical facilities in Cleveland, where FPB nursing students do many of their clinical experiences.
