Susan Adkins, MSN Student

Came to FPB because...
The opportunity to focus on acute care nursing. There were many schools offering family practice nurse practitioner programs. The excellent reputation that Case Western Reserve has across the country was also a contributing factor.

My most unique FPB experience:
I would say that the support and assistance of the faculty has been phenomenal!

The first word that comes to my mind when I think of:
FPB... Nursing
Nursing... Passion
Case Western Reserve University Prestigious
Clinicals... Great learning opportunity

The best nursing class at FPB I've taken so far:
I've only just started my first year at FPB and I can't pick a best class! So far, though, I have gained a plethora of knowledge and insight from each of them.

The best thing about being an FPB student:
The best thing about being a FPB student is being able to recognize that the field of nursing is rapidly growing and the opportunities for nurses are vast.

If I could...
...travel anywhere in the world, I would go to: Paris, France
...eat dinner with any one person, living or deceased, real or fictional, I would choose: My grandmother
...live in any era throughout history, I would pick: The technology and advancement of the current era would make it difficult to live in any other era.
...invent anything, I would create: A way to minimize suffering

My plans after graduation:
When I graduate, I plan to practice in an acute care setting as a nurse practitioner. I would like to focus on educating families and patients.
