Came to FPB because...
My first attraction to FPB came from the clinical experience that is given, as well as the idea that it would start in the first semester of my freshman year. For me, this was ideal because it would let me know right away if a career in nursing was what I wanted. Beyond that, once I came to visit Case Western Reserve University, I could see that it was the ideal environment for me. It is large enough to provide a lot of opportunities, but still small enough that i wouldn't get lost in the crowd.
My most unique FPB experience:
It is really fantastic to be in the hospital from the very beginning. I talk to friends in other nursing programs, and they have hardly started nursing classes, let alone patient interaction. I feel like I've really gotten a jumpstart on experience, from learning how to talk to patients and their families to giving my first shots. The Bolton School really does a great job of providing as many opportunities as possible for you to take advantage of.
