Expected Year of Graduation: 2009

Came to FPB because...
I researched other schools before coming to FPB, and I was blown away by the faculty and the research that occurs here. The fact that nursing researchers you read about are working at FPB (many of whom are FAANs) really impressed me. I also loved the simulation equipment with SimMan, SimBaby, and now SimChild in the Learning Resource Center, where I work as a graduate teaching assistant.

My most unique FPB experience:
Going to Guatemala! I went with the master's program for a week to San Raymundo and Antigua, Guatemala, where I cared for patients as a nurse practitioner, met inspiring people from all over North and Central America, ate amazing Guatemalan food, improved my Spanish skills, and made a difference in hundreds of people's lives.

The first word that comes to my mind when I think of:
FPB... Home away from home
Nursing... My life!
Cleveland... Home
Case Western Reserve University Excellence
Clinicals... Learning experience

The best nursing class at FPB I've taken so far:
Advanced Physiology with Dr. Linda Workman. Dr. Workman is somewhat of a nursing legend who is so incredibly smart that it inspires you to work hard to have even a quarter of her knowledge.

The best thing about being an FPB student:
For me, the best thing about being at FPB is going to class with intelligent people and graduating with a well-respected degree.

If I could...
...travel anywhere in the world, I would go to: Italy again! It's the most beautiful place in the world.
...eat dinner with any one person, living or deceased, real or fictional, I would choose: Leonardo da Vinci
...live in any era throughout history, I would pick: The Victorian era so that I could wear big fancy dresses
...invent anything, I would create: Something where I could wiggle my nose and travel somewhere else in a second

My plans after graduation:
After graduation I plan to work as a pediatric nurse practitioner in pediatric neurology and try to get somewhat of a social life back!
