The finance department works in conjunction with human resources, facilities, and information systems to help administer accounts for the School. In particular, the department is responsible for the Bolton School's
financial analysis and development; monthly reconciliations of grant, endowment, and operating accounts; and assistance in the administration of both sponsored and non-sponsored projects. In addition, the department develops the SON Finance Manual (see below), which was recently upgraded from PeopleSoft 7.5 to 8.4. All FPB staff are encouraged to engage in PeopleSoft training.

The SON Finance Manual is the Bolton School's main resource for accounting and budgeting information. It is updated regularly by the Finance Department. It is in PDF format; click here to view and download the files.
Enterprise resource planning is an integrated software solution used to manage an organization's resources. ERP systems integrate business management and administrative functions including human resources, accounts payable, purchasing and finance.
This new integrated administrative system has replaced Case’s outdated core administrative applications including payroll, finance, purchasing, accounts payable to provide, for the first time ever, a human resources system.
