When you visit, you'll want to be sure to leave yourself enough time to see the school (and campus), visit with a professor or two, and maybe stop by a class. Nothing compares to visiting us in person.

NOTE: Cornell Road is closed from Euclid Avenue to the entrance of the Cornell visitors parking garage due to construction at University Hospitals. The project is scheduled to last approximately 10 months, starting in July 2009. During this time, the Cornell garage should be accessed via the Mayfield Road entrance. Signage will be in place to direct traffic.
How to Reach the FPB School of Nursing
Case Western Reserve University is about four miles directly east of downtown Cleveland on Euclid Avenue (U.S. Routes 20, 6, and 322). Guest parking for the FPB School of Nursing is available in both the Health Sciences parking garage on Circle Drive and the Veale Center parking facility on Adelbert Road. The Health Sciences parking facility fills up early, so our directions guide you to the much larger Veale Center facility instead.
If you are coming from the east:
Via Interstate 90:
Exit at Martin Luther King Drive. Follow Martin Luther King Drive south until it intersects with Chester Avenue. Take a left on Chester, proceed approximately 100 yards and then turn left on Euclid Avenue. For parking, turn right at the second traffic light onto Adelbert Road. Proceed past Rainbow Baby and Children's Hospital on your left. Immediately past Rainbow, on your right is the entrance to the Veale Center parking facility. Park in the Veale building and be sure to bring your parking ticket with you, which we'll validate so you don't have to pay for parking. Head back towards the Rainbow Hospital and walk between the hospital and the parking garage, towards the clock tower. At the clock tower, follow the sidewalk around to the left, and under the pedestrian bridge. The entrance to the FPB School of Nursing will be on your right.
Via Interstate 80 or the Pennsylvania Turnpike:
Follow signs leading to the Ohio Turnpike. Remain on the Ohio Turnpike until you reach Exit 13. Get off at Exit 13 and follow Interstate 480 north, which leads to (merges with) Interstate 271. Exit from Interstate 271 at Cedar Road. Stay on Cedar Road, westbound, for five miles bearing right onto East Boulevard where Cedar and East Boulevard intersect. Turn right onto Euclid from East Boulevard to reach the campus and then follow the directions above from Adelbert Road.
If you are coming from the west:
Via Euclid Avenue:
When traveling east on Euclid Avenue, at Severance Hall (on the left) take a right onto Adelbert Road. Once on Adelbert, the FPB School of Nursing is located ¼ mile on your left. To park, continue on Adelbert past Rainbow Baby and Children's Hospital on your left. Immediately past Rainbow, on the right is the entrance to the Veale Center parking facility. Park in the Veale building and be sure to bring your parking ticket with you.
Via the Ohio Turnpike:
Exit at I-480 East. Follow I-480 o I-71 North until you reach the Cleveland Shoreway (marked Route 2 and Interstate 90) in the downtown area. Follow Interstate 90 east to Chester Avenue exit and proceed east on Chester until it ends at Euclid Avenue. Turn left onto Euclid and at the third traffic light (Severance Hall will be on your left) turn right onto Adelbert Rd. Proceed past Rainbow Baby and Children's hospital on your left. Immediately past Rainbow, on your right is the entrance to the Veale Center parking facility. Park in the Veale building and be sure to bring your parking ticket with you so that we can validate it. Head back towards the Rainbow Hospital and walk between the hospital and the parking garage, towards the clock tower. If you are coming from the south:
Via Interstate 90:
Follow I-90 to I-71 north, then follow the directions above.
Via Interstate 71 or Interstate 77:
Stay on either of these
roads until you reach the Cleveland Shoreway (marked Route 2 and Interstate 90) in the downtown area.
Follow Interstate 90 East to Chester Avenue exit and proceed east on Chester until it ends at Euclid
Avenue. Turn left onto Euclid and at the third traffic light (Severance Hall will be on your left) turn right onto Adelbert Rd. Proceed past Rainbow Baby and Children's Hospital on your left. Immediately past Rainbow, on your right is the entrance to the Veale Center parking facility. Park in the Veale building and be sure to bring your parking ticket with you for validation. To reach the campus by bus:
Both Greyhound and Continental Trailways bus depots are located
on Chester Avenue near East 14th Street, in downtown Cleveland. Taxis are available, or walk one block
south on East 14th Street to Euclid Avenue. You can catch the RTA Bus #6 (Windermere) eastbound to
campus. Get off at the Adelbert Road stop for the FPB School of Nursing.
To reach the campus by air:
Arrive at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. The easiest,
simplest, and cheapest way of getting to the campus from Hopkins is to take the RTA Rapid Transit train
to the station marked "University Circle." A free University Circle shuttle bus connects the
station with all areas of the campus, including the FPB School of Nursing. Or, if you prefer, take a taxi.
To reach the campus by train:
Arrive at the AMTRAK station. Take a taxi to the Case Western Reserve
University campus.
