A gift of whole life insurance can be made to the Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing by naming the School as the irrevocable owner and beneficiary of the policy. Gifts of life insurance policies require charitable contributions from the donor to the university in the amount of any premiums, including unscheduled premiums, which may become due.
The School may also be named as the beneficiary of a life insurance policy that you continue to own. This designation is easy to accomplish and simply requires completing a change of beneficiary form from your insurance company.
