Dr. Noreen Brady Visits Taiwan to Promote Evidence-Based Nursing Practice
Nurses world-wide are seeking to incorporate the latest evidence into their practice. The Tri-Service General Hospital in Taipei, Taiwan is no exception and is actively pursuing this goal. As part of this effort, Dr. Noreen Brady of the Hirsh Institute was invited to teach there during the week of December 2, 2007 with a focus on Evidence-Based Nursing Practice and Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing.
Dr. Brady gave eight presentations in five days introducing both Evidence-Based Practice to Tri-Service General Hospital’s nursing leadership group, and in separate presentations, highlighting the latest updates in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing to their psychiatric nurses. Also included in the trip were visits and presentations to the Deans and selected faculty of both the Nursing Department of the National Defense Medical School and the Nursing School of I-Shou University. Dr. Brady was especially impressed with the beauty of the country and the gracious and generous hospitality extended to her during her visit. |
