Welcome Fall 2008 Graduate Entry DNP Students!

The faculty and staff of the Bolton School of Nursing welcome you to the Graduate Entry MSN/DNP program.

The information posted on this website has been revised as of 5/6/08.  We had anticipated we would have our New Student website updated for the Fall 2008 class around April 1. However, in light of our exciting revised curriculum for Fall 2008 and recent changes in the university processes for registration and health requirements, we are still getting the information needed to post on the website.

Regarding registration:

The Graduate Entry DNP students take courses taught just for them. Therefore, there is no chance you would be closed out of a course.

A tentative schedule for Fall 2008 and the curriculum for the class entering Fall 2008 are posted below.

The current listings on the CWRU searchable schedule are NOT accurate.

We are undertaking the required multi-step processes necessary to update the searchable schedule and will notify you when that is done.

At that point, we will provide detailed guidelines on how to register and how to submit your requests for clinical day and labs.

Regarding health and safety requirements, uniforms, & other information:

Information on health and safety requirements is posted below.

We expect to have the uniform information posted by mid-May.

Dr. Lindell will be around campus through the summer, so feel free to contact her with any questions or concerns you may have.

Please check the site often as additional updates will be posted as information becomes available. We will put a note in this section and a date by the individual topic as information is added or updated.

See you on August 21, 2008!!

On this website, you will find information useful to prepare for the program: registering for courses, financial aid, schedules, mandatory health/safety requirements, etc.

Save your letter of admission! It has important information including the name of your advisor. You will need to contact your advisor in order to register for courses.

Continue to check this website throughout the summer for important updates.

Orientation to the DNP Program is:

°

Thursday, August 21: 1 PM to 4:30 PM (Graduate Entry DNP Program orientation)

°

Friday, August 22: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (AM is all school orientation and lunch; PM is additional Graduate Entry DNP Program orientation)

°

Attendance is required. Note these dates! More details will follow in the summer.

Classes begin: Monday, August 25, 2008.

Housing: We have a housing link with helpful information about rentals in areas contiguous to the school, local pricing, as well as housing available on campus.

Looking for a roommate? Send Dr Lindell (Deborah.lindell@case.edu) an email with the particulars and she will forward it to all applicants admitted for Fall, 2008.

Please contact us (see below) if you have any questions or concerns regarding the program.
